EURO TOUR 2014

The clock is ticking and It is approaching January 2014….The time has come again to talk on behalf of poor African children, It requires sympathetic heart to do such social works. I feel like I owe Europeans especially Czech people and Americans big time as they give their time and money to help my people, my African people.

It is easy to enter USA or UK than entering Czech territory, One has to go through a lot of processes to obtain a visa to enter Czech Republic. As a mercenary of compassion as nicknamed by Ondrej Horecky (Bez Mamy Founder) I request permission to tag along as I can go through all those processes to support what Czech people started and are doing to help my people….my African People.

I’m not expendable, I know it, I know I’m indispensable in front of all WMO/Bez mamy leaders, Members, Volunteers and the children of Tanzania so I don’t care what troubles do I go through as long as  Bez mamy and Without Mother Organization (WMO) achieve their objectives

As for me to enter Czech Republic I need to have two visas, Ethiopian and Schengen visa. The journey will start on 30th January 2014 from my home town Mbeya to Kilimanjaro then to Nairobi Kenya where I will have to apply for Ethiopian visa. After I have obtained my Ethiopian visa I will fly to Addis Ababa for Schengen visa application at the Embassy of the Czech Republic then leave Ethiopia for Czech capital Prague via Instanbul Turkey.

This blog will provide all events, stories and photos from this mission aiming to support our projects in Africa. You can also support Bez Mamy by being part of this in our social networks. Shares, likes and comments will be highly appreciated

TRIP PLAN PROGRESS
Step 1
Invitation

Thanks to my old friend and brother Ondrej Horecky who despite of stepping down from Bez mamy's leadership but helps and is still the key to some important issues to keep Bez mamy move on. At last he made it to get the invitation letter on 30th December 2013. This very important document which is the gateway to Schengen States is not just a hand written piece of paper or letter,It is like a certificate with a seal issued by Czech migration Police

Step 2
Flight tickets
30/01/14 Mbeya - Dar - Kilimanjaro. Fastjet confirmed

Believe me or not, Tanzania has gone beyond expectations in air transportation as you can now fly from Mbeya to Dar in Airbus 319 by only 53,000Tsh one way so is Dar to Kilimanjaro. Goodbye Tanzanian "Michael Schumachers" bus drivers who drive as if they can  fly.

Volunteers Renata and Lukas were completely unhappy and felt unsafe in these passengers buses from Dar to Mbeya, I was afraid if they share their Tanzania travel experience we might loose other volunteers in the future but now I'm happy with Fastjet..Africa's low cost airline based in Dar es salaam

Good news to our future European volunteers who don't feel safe in these buses, no more speed buses from Dar to Mbeya now you can cheaply fly, feel safe, comfortable, never spend a day in a congested Dar and spend only 55 minutes on air.

Step 3
Flying out of East African Community sky
Ethiopian Airline ET 802Q Confirmed

In the sky again with Ethiopian, winner of 2013 World Airline awards of best African Airline for staff services. It is nice to fly with this airline but it is also sad to walk in the streets of Ethiopian Capital Addis Ababa. As a social worker I'm always touched with number of beggars, orphans, poor, street and homeless women and children who can be seen at least every after 50 steps. I wish Bez mamy could be able to spread all over Africa to help these poor people but at the same time I wonder how is it possible Ethiopian government can afford to buy 5 bigger planes like Boeing 787-8 and order 14 Airbus A350-900, 5 Boeing 737-800 but cant support its people?.. :-(
